Panning for gold in Tyndrum

We are lucky enough to have a gold filled river running through the park, which you are free to pan in whilst staying with us. We have gold panning equipment for sale or you can bring you own.

Our central location makes us an ideal stopping off point not only for visitors of the West Highland Way but also for travelers going further afield to destinations like Glencoe, Oban and the Scottish Islands.

Within walking distance of the Pine Trees there is a chip shop, coffee shop, a mini market and the famous Green Welly Stop. For the more adventurous there is fishing, golfing, mountain bike tracks, forest walks and many other points of interest.
